Her Campus Media

Boston, MA | Summer + Fall 2019

For the majority of 2019, I spent my time with Her Campus Media as a Community Management Intern and an Integrated Marketing Intern.

During my time as a Community Management Intern, I was responsible for the creation of new resources for their globally expansive chapter network and recruiting chapters at universities.

During my time as an Integrated Marketing Intern, I was responsible for the implementation and tracking of various digital, experiential, and influencer marketing campaigns for prominent brands and retailers including CVS, P&G, Under Armour, Primark, MoroccanOil, and more.

Additionally, I took the lead on our summer intern project where we designed a hypothetical business partnership proposal for the Her Campus Media brand and Tide (P&G).

My leadership and hard work were recognized and I was asked to be a part of various additional projects that crossed over with the Editorial team, Business Development team, and Social Media team as a result. These projects include being a production assistant and an actor for an online commercial with Joy Razor (Walmart); being one of the faces of Primark's fall line through various photo advertisements on social media and as a model in their College Fashion Week show; and managing content on various Her Campus social media accounts.

Currently, I have been working as a Guest Contributor for the 'Women Entrepreneur' section of Entrepreneur Media which highlights the perspectives of prominent female business leaders.

I have been reaching out to business leaders I admire in the New York and Boston areas to hear the stories of how they came to be and to gain their insight on how they stand out within their respective industries.

Articles will be published throughout 2020.

Marketing Intern

Penguin Random House

New York, NY | Spring 2018

As a senior in high school, I participated in my school's internship program where I was chosen as a Marketing + Publishing intern for Penguin Random House.

During my time there I would read through the slush pile (unsolicited manuscripts) and write reports about the content to see if any were to be considered for publishing.

I also tracked literary data from academic institutions nationwide to assist with literary marketing campaigns.

On occasion, I come back to assist my previous supervisor with the slush pile. I love reading through potential books, searching for the next big thing!
